Veolia: underlying earnings down 8.6%.

(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia reported H1 2017 underlying earnings, group share of 295 million euros, down 8.
6%, with underlying EBIT of 773.8 million euros, up 0.3%, relative to a restated 2016 basis.

EBITDA increased by 0.4% at constant exchange rates to 1,651 million euros, having benefited from two growth drivers, cost savings (126 million euros in the first half of the year) and robust sales growth.

Revenues for the utilities group reached 12,346 million, up 4.4% at constant exchange rates (+4.3% on a current basis) and were up 3.1% on a like-for-like basis.
