Schneider Electric: Oddo still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - Oddo BHF has reinstated its "outperform" rating on the on Schneider Electric share, along with its target price of 147 euros, which Bloomberg cits as one of the potential buyers of Renishaw, a British company specialising in precision metrology.


Analysts say that Schneider's interest seems possible, as the group is present in instrumentation and measurement products and that Renishaw could bring an interesting industrial automation component. However, the broker considers the price as "prohibitive".

Oddo believes that Schneider has key strengths, including a momentum for gains in market share, continued improvement in its adjusted EBIT margin, strong FCF generation and a strategy that is based on digitalisation and energy efficiency.
