Schneider Electric: raises FY targets
(CercleFinance.com) - Schneider Electric is now looking for between +6 and +8% organic growth in adjusted EBITA (vs.
+4 and + 7% initially announced) for 2019, with organic sales growth of between +4 and +5% (against an initial target of +3% to +5%).
In the first half of 2019, the electrical equipment supplier posted adjusted net income of 1,255 million euros, up +10%, with adjusted EBITA of 1,960 million euros, up 10.9% in organic terms, with a margin of 14.8% (+70 basis points in organic terms).
Revenues totaled 13,202 million euros, up 5.4% in organic terms, with an increase of +7.2% as reported, with strong growth in the company's energy business. which posted organic growth of 7%.
