Schneider Electric: finalises disposal of Pelco

(CercleFinance.com) - Following consultation with personnel representative bodies, Schneider Electric announces that it has finalised the divestment of its Pelco business to Transom Capital Group, a US private equity firm, in line with the terms set out on 25 March.


The group specified that the transaction would result in a loss on the disposal of up to 250 million euros, with no effect on cash, and a twelve-month accretive impact of about +10 basis points on the adjusted EBITA margin.

For the record, Pelco is specialized in complete solutions and CCTV surveillance services. This company employs 478 people and made sales of 169 million euros last year.
