Dassault Aviation: sharp rise in deliveries in 2021

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Aviation has announced that it has delivered 30 Falcon business jets over the past year (against a forecast of 25 deliveries and compared to 34 in 2020), as well as 25 Rafale fighter jets for export (in line with its forecast, and against 13 in 2020).


The aircraft manufacturer has received orders for 51 Falcon aircraft in 2021 (compared with 15 in 2020) and 49 Rafale aircraft (of which 37 for export and 12 in France). At 31 December 2021, the order book thus included 55 Falcon aircraft (compared with 34 at end-2020) and 86 Rafale aircraft (compared with 62 at end-2020).

The share has taken off on this news - up about 2.5% in early trading today - outperforming the CAC40 by about 4%.
