Peugeot SA: H1 sales reach historic peak

(CercleFinance.com) - In H1 2018, Peugeot SA (PSA Group) sold 2.
2 million vehicles worldwide, representing a sharp increase of 38.1% year-on-year, representing an historic record.

Remember that PSA has consolidated Opel/Vauxhall since 1 August 2017.
The automaker highlights the success of its SUV (28% of group sales, with 609,300 units), of which it has launched 13 models, such as the 2008, 3008, 4008 and 5008, Citroen C3-XR, C3 Aircross, etc. Peugeot SA boasts second place in this segment in Europe, with a market share of 16.9%.

In addition, sales of light commercial vehicles (LCV) also leapt, rising 32.8% to 289,500 units, although growth was lower at 8.3%, excluding the integration of Opel/Vauxhall. The group has a market share of 25.3%.
