Peugeot: Bpifrance buys the APE's stake.

(CercleFinance.com) - Bpifrance has announced the purchase of all of the Agence des Participations de l'Etat (APE)'s stake in Peugeot SA.


To date this transaction represents approximately 12.23% of the group's capital for a total price of 1,866,901,334.40 euros.

Bpifrance therefore takes over the rights and obligations of the French State under the shareholders' agreement with Peugeot SA, the Peugeot family and the Chinese car maker Dongfeng, and will as a result have two seats and one censor on PSA's supervisory board.
