Opel: the DGCCRF has closed its investigations.

(CercleFinance.com) - The Minister of the Economy and Finance has announced that the Directorate-General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) has ended its investigations regarding the polluting emissions of Opel diesel vehicles that are marketed in France.


The DGCCRF has used the results of tests carried out by the Technical Union of Automobile, Motorcycle and Cycle (UTAC) and IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN), as well as documents transmitted by Opel.

"The details that have been collected and analysed have not revealed facts constituting any offense of deception."
