Kering: finalises agreement with Cartier.

(CercleFinance.com) - After the market closed on Thursday, Kering announced that its subsidiary Kering and Maison Cartier, owned by Compagnie Financière Richemont, have finalised their strategic agreement to develop Eyewear, under the terms announced on 21 March.


Richemont will take a minority stake in the capital of Kering Eyewear, which is entirely dedicated to the Eyewear activity of Kering's 12 brands (Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Christopher Kane, McQ, Stella McCartney, Tomas Maier, Boucheron, Pomellato and Puma).

The agreement will create a platform for the development, manufacturing and global marketing of Cartier's glasses collections.
