Thales: 2% organic sales growth in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced Q1 2021 revenue of 3.
92 billion euros, up 0.5% (+1.9% at constant constant consolidation scope and exchange rates), despite the health crisis continuing to weigh in civil aeronautics and biometrics.

The electronics group's order intake amounted to 3.42 billion euros, up 31% compared to Q1 2020 at constant consolidation scope and exchange rates, and 28% as reported, including a negative FX effect.

Thales confirms all of its targets for 2021, including a book-to-bill ratio of over one, sales of 17.1 to 17.9 billion euros, and an EBIT margin of between 9.5% and 10%, up 150 to 200 basis points.
