Thales: contracts for mine countermeasures

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales will supply the Royal Navy and the Marines with the first fully integrated unmanned mine countermeasures system of systems.


France and the UK have signed a joint contract for the launch of Phase 2 (production) of the MMCM (Maritime Mine Counter Measures).

Thanks to this contract, the French and British marines will be equipped with the first fully integrated unmanned mine countermeasures system of systems.

With its main partners (ECA Group, L3Harris and Saab), Thales will deliver systems to both naval forces from 2022.
