Thales: inaugurates Competence Centre in India

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announces the inauguration in Bengaluru of its global Competence Centre to accelerate innovation and digital transformation to serve the needs of the Indian market and to meet those of the group globally.


This Centre, which is the first of its kind in India, aims to meet Thales' global needs in the civil and military fields. It will contribute to the development of skills in India, and Thales plans to recruit 3,000 people for this Centre.

"Localization of R&D activities in India will enable a closer day-to-day work with our Indian Supply Chain Partners, which will favour the competitiveness of manufacturing in India," the electronics group said.
