Thales: partnership with Gruau.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Thales announced that it has signed a partnership with Gruau at the Milipol Paris show to design a new connected solution for patrol vehicles of the future, a real connected roof unit, to support the digital transformation of security services.


This solution will replace the traditional ramp that can be transposed onto new generation vehicles. New features will also enable patrols to remotely access business applications and databases, share documents (photos, videos), thanks to secure broadband connectivity and a facility to process data and videos locally and centrally.

Reinforced, the roof unit integrates the vehicle's entire current technical means (radio, signage and automated reading capacity of car number plates), as well as innovative features (local hosting application, video processing, 360-degree camera with night viewing, proximity alarm, drone), along with secure broadband connectivity.
