Thales: opens two centres in the UK.

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales today announced that it has invested in two new test and training centres in the UK.


This investment, which totals around 8 million euros, follows successful tests carried out last year during the Royal Navy's Unmanned Warrior exercise.

Thales will therefore open two training centers in South Wales and South East England to develop and test autonomous and unmanned systems for civilian and military purposes. 500 jobs will be directly created by the development of these technologies, at Thales and its supply chain partners.
