Wendel: NAV up 7.6% per share at end-September

(CercleFinance.com) - Wendel has announced net asset value (NAV) of 7,162 million euros, or 158.
6 euros per share as at 30 September 2019, compared to 147.4 euros per share at 31 December 2018, representing an increase of 7.6%. The discount on NAV amounts to 21.6% at 30 September.

Consolidated sales amounted to 6.4 billion euros over nine months, up 2.8%, with organic growth of 0.9%. This increase is mainly driven by Bureau Veritas, with total growth of 6% and organic growth of 4%.

"Wendel enjoys a solid portfolio and a strong balance sheet. We continue to seek investment opportunities in a disciplined manner," said board chairman André François-Poncet.
