Wendel: E200m share buyback agreement

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Wendel announced that, led by Goldman Sachs International, it concluded a share buyback agreement amounting to 200 million euros.


As part of this agreement, Wendel will repurchase 200 million euros of its own shares, and mainly aims to cancel them.

Once completed, and based on the actual redemption price of the shares, this transaction should reduce the number of outstanding Wendel shares by approximately 4%, based on the current share price (112.20 euros at close on 26 March 2019).

Note that the group does not intend to cancel the 993,049 treasury shares that it already holds and which are allocated to other purposes.
