Eurazeo: invests in MessageBird

(CercleFinance.com) - Eurazeo today announced that it is in charge of shareholding talks with Tiger Global, alongside funds managed by Blackrock, Owl Rock, and other historic investors, such as Atomico and Accel, resulting in a minority investment of 200 million dollars in MessageBird.


The leading global omnichannel communications platform is therefore completing a 1 billion dollar round of funding, the largest C Series ever in Europe and the second largest on either side of the Atlantic.

With this latest round of fundraising, MessageBird announces that it is in final negotiations to acquire SparkPost in a 600 million dollar deal. The fundraising will also enable MessageBird to continue its international expansion.
