Eurazeo: negotiates acquisition of DORC

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Eurazeo has announced its entry into exclusive talks to acquire the Dutch Ophthalmic Research Center (DORC) from Montagu Private Equity.


Eurazeo Capital will invest approximately 300 million euros in this business.

"Established in 1983 and headquartered in the Netherlands, the company operates in the medical technology sector and is one of the global leading specialists of vitreoretinal surgery. DORC designs, manufactures and distributes ophthalmic surgery equipment, consumables and instruments,” Eurazeo said.

DORC has around 500 employees and has a large market share in Europe, Eurazeo adds.
