LVMH: Fashion house Francis Kurkdjian joins group.

(CercleFinance.com) - The group LVMH and House Francis Kurkdjian have decided to partner up to together pursue the fashion house's long-term development.


This agreement provides for a sale of majority shares to LVMH. Marc Chaya and Francis, who are respectively chairman and creative director, retain their functions and remain company shareholders.

LVMH's taking of a majority stake in the fashion house Francis Kurkdjian will enable the latter to continue its development - especially internationally - in compliance with its singularity, quality requirements and creative freedom" the group says.

The fashion house, which is present in about 40 countries, has since 2016 belonged to the Colbert Committee, an institution that promotes the influence of the French art of living.
