Bic: Q1 EPS up two thirds

(CercleFinance.com) - Disposable consumer product group Bic has reported sales of 515.
7 million euros for Q1 2022, up 20.4% at constant exchange rates and up 18.8% on a comparable basis.

Bic reported growth in all divisions and regions, notably thanks to higher volumes.

Adjusted EPS was 1.6 euro, up 66.7% from 0.96 euro in Q1 2021.

Hailing the excellent commercial performance, management is very confident in the ability of its teams to mitigate the multiple headwinds ahead and achieve its targets for 2022.

For 2022, Bic has set a sales growth target at constant exchange rates at the top end of a range of 7% to 9%.
