Bic: Q1 sales up 25.6%

(CercleFinance.com) - Bic has published Q1 2021 sales of 411 million euros, up 25.
6% y-o-y at constant exchange rates.

Adjusted net income, group share per share thus came to 0.96 euro, up sharply compared to the same period a year ago (0.6 euro).

The company believes that its strong results were particularly driven by exceptional growth in lighters in the United States in the first quarter, supported by a change in market dynamics in pocket lighters and utility lighters.
