Bic: to sell HQ and new strategic plan

(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Monday consumer staples group Bic announced signing, with BNP Paribas Real Estate and Citallios, of a sales promise for its HQ and the Bic Technologies site in Clichy-La-Garenne, near Paris.


The premises will be sold for 175 million euros: the final signature will occur in the first three months of 2021.

At the start of February Bic announced the BEFA (off-plan) leasing of a large part of the eConic building in Clichy, found at porte de Clichy on the edge of Paris, where all the teams of its HQ will be based from 2022.

Bic has also unveiled "Horizon", its new strategic plan designed to stimulate growth and ensure solid shareholder remuneration, in line with its transformation plan "Bic 2022-Invent the Future". It targets annual sales growth of around 5%, along with net cash flow generation of at least 200 million euros through to 2022.

This comes alongside investments to support organic growth, targeted acquisitions and "strong shareholder returns".
