(CercleFinance.com) - Bic reported net attributable profit of 3.
23 euros per share for the first half of 2017, up 6.3%, with normalised operating profit of 219.4 million euros, meaning a 0.1-point slip in its margin to 20.6%.

Revenues from the manufacturer of razors, lighters and stationery amounted to 1,062.9 million euros, up 3% as reported and up 0.3% like-for-like, mainly due to a favourable impact from FX factors.

Bic's management now expects organic sales growth of between 3% and 4% for 2017, as well as a reduction in the normalised operating margin that is -100 basis points below the level initially forecast.
