Bic: sale of Bic Graphic's businesses.

(CercleFinance.com) - Bic has announced that, following the agreement to sell assets and shares signed on 6 June, Bic Graphic's North American business and sourcing operations in Asia were sold to H.
I.G. Capital for 80 million dollars.

The manufacturer of stationery, lighters and razors specifies that this amount includes 70 million dollars in cash and 10 million dollars through a six-year subordinated debt, which bears capitalised interest of 7% per annum.

The estimated net loss on Bic Group's 2017 results from this disposal amounts to approximately 5 million euros, subject to final adjustments. This non-recurrent item will be excluded from standardised earnings per share.
