Pernod Ricard: Q1 sales up 22%

(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard has announced Q1 2021-22 sales of nearly 2.
72 billion euros, with a 22% increase in nominal sales and 20% organic growth.

The spirits group said that off-trade remains resilient and markets are supported by the reopening of on-trade, as well as “Travel Retail still very subdued but benefitting from low basis of comparison”.

The group said that it expects sales to continue to grow dynamically in FY 2021/22, albeit “moderating vs. Q1”, adding that the group “will continue to implement our strategy”.
