3%), with the support of Jefferies, which ups its recommendation on the French spirits giant's share from 'hold' to 'buy' with a target price increased from 142 to 170 euros.

In a research note on the alcoholic drinks sector, the broker cites, on the subject of Pernod Ricard, “attractive top and bottom line prospects with undemanding valuation”.
