Danone: successful 1.25 billion euro bond placement.

(CercleFinance.com) - Danone has announced having successfully launched a hybrid bond issue of 1.
25 billion euros for an indefinite period.

This issue enables Danone to diversify its sources of funding and strengthen its balance sheet structure, giving it the financial flexibility for the implementation of its strategy.

The proceeds of this issue will be particularly spent on the refinancing of existing debt.

The issue consists of securities of an indefinite period, which are denominated in euros, with an initial coupon of 1.75%, and a first option of early refund on 23 June 2023.
