Danone: developing its products in Ghana.

(CercleFinance.com) - Danone, in partnership with the Abraaj Group (Abraaj), has announced the expansion of its production capacity at its Akosombo plant in Accra, Ghana.


This total investment of 25 million dollars will enable Fan Milk (Ghana) Ltd, its local subsidiary, to support the growing demand for ice cream and dairy products on the West African regional market.

The plant's extension will also enable the production of FanMaxx, a new creamy yogurt drink that will be available in June in Ghana and will be the first of its kind in West Africa.
