Sanofi: appoints new CEO

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi's board of directors announced this morning that it yesterday unanimously appointed Paul Hudson as CEO, with the group's CEO, Olivier Brandicourt, set to retire.


Sanofi's governing body has praised Mr. Brandicourt: “Thanks to the actions undertaken during his term of office, Sanofi is able to accelerate its growth, and has powerful assets to regain the position it needs to occupy."

Having previously worked for Schering Plow and Astra Zeneca, and the current CEO of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Hudson will take over Sanofi's operational management on 1 September.
