Sanofi: two billion dollar bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi has announced that it has placed a two billion dollar bond issue under a public bond issue program registered with the US SEC on 15 March 2016.


This issue will consist of 1 billion dollar fixed-rate bond, maturing on 19 June 2023, bearing interest at an annual rate of 3.375%, and 1 billion at fixed rate, maturing on 19 June 2028, bearing interest at an annual rate of 3.625%.

The pharmaceutical group will attribute the net proceeds of the issuance of these bond issues to its general needs, including the reimbursement of existing loans. Barclays Capital and Morgan Stanley have acted as global coordinators of the issue.
