Sanofi: Bill Sibold appointed Executive Vice President.

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi has announced the appointment of Bill Sibold as Executive Vice President of Sanofi Genzyme.


Mr. Sibold will be a member of the group's Executive Committee.

Since January 2016 Bill Sibold has led Sanofi Genzyme's global organisation for Multiple Sclerosis, Oncology and Immunology and has been instrumental in preparing for the launch of dupilumab and sarilumab worldwide.

Mr. Sibold is from Canada and has more than twenty-five years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry since starting his career with Eli Lilly. He held a number of executive positions within Biogen.

He has also worked for Biogen in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, and was sales director for Avanir Pharmaceuticals.
