Bouygues: completes E2bn bond placement

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has announced the successful placement of a bond issue for totaling two billion euros, comprising two tranches of one billion euros each with maturities of seven and 15 years, bearing coupons of 2.
25% and 3.25% respectively.

The financial cost for the conglomerate, after taking into account pre-hedging operations, is slightly below 0.95% for the seven-year tranche and slightly below 1.90% for the 15-year tranche.

This bond issue is the first step in the refinancing of the 6 billion euro two-year syndicated loan, which was contracted tonhelp pay for the Equans acquisition.
