Bouygues: set to acquire Euro-Information Telecom

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Telecom has announced that it has signed an exclusivity agreement with Crédit Mutuel to acquire the alternative operator Euro-Information Telecom, in addition to concluding an exclusive distribution partnership with Crédit Mutuel and CIC.


The acquisition price includes a fixed sum of 530 million euros payable on closing (expected by the end of 2020) and an additional part of between 140 million and 325 million euros, subject to the achievement of economic performance criteria, which is payable over several years.

The deal would enable Bouygues Telecom to increase its customer base by over two million customers and expand its distribution network through more than 4,200 Crédit Mutuel local branches and CIC bank branches and their 30,000 customer advisors.
