Bouygues: signs E199m contract in Aude

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has signed a contract with the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region in France for the port extension of Port-La Nouvelle, in Aude.


This contract was awarded to the consortium formed by Bouygues Travaux Publics (agent) and Boskalis Nederland BV. It is worth 199 million euros for an overall project cost of 237 million euros.

The extension of the port of Port-La Nouvelle has a dual purpose: to develop existing traffic and welcome new projects - especially relating to new energies, the group said.

Work, which has just begun, is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
