Accor: double voting rights for Qatar Holding
(CercleFinance.com) - A rectified notice issued by the AMF yesterday by details the statement that on 13 July 2018, Qatar Holding, a subsidiary of the Qatari sovereign fund Qatar Investment Authority, has increased its stake in Accor to over thresholds of 10% and 15% of Accor's voting rights.
On that date and after the allocation of double voting rights, Qatar Holding held 10.14% of the group's capital and 18.23% of its votes. Although, as of 10 September, these rates were respectively 10.14% and 15.96%. At this time, Qatar Holding stated that it is considering additional purchases of Accor shares, depending on opportunities that may arise, although rules out taking control of the company.
