AccorHotels: net results buoyed by AccorInvest

(CercleFinance.com) - AccorHotels publishes half-yearly net results of 2,179 million euros following the sale of the capital of AccorInvest, compared to 87 million the previous year, as well as a gross operating surplus of 291 million, up 4.
2% in comparable data.

The hotel group's turnover came to 1,459 million euros as at 30 June 2018, up 8% at constant scope and exchange rates and 3% in published data, and the business volume reaches 8.9 billion euros, up 10.3% outside exchange effects.

Based in particular on solid activity over all markets in the first half year and organic development over and above 42,000 rooms at the end of 2018, the Group confirms that it forecasts a gross operating surplus of between 690 and 720 million euros for the year 2018.
