AccorHotels: Q1 revenue up 7.4%.
(CercleFinance.com) - The AccorHotels group posted a quarterly sales that were up 7.
4% like-for-like and up 35.4% as reported, at 425 million euros.
Over the first three months of the year, revenue was supported by the positive impact from changes in the group's consolidation scope (including contributions from Raffles, Fairmont, Swissotel, onefinestay and JohnPaul) and currency effects (Brazilian real and Australian dollar in particular).
Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AccorHotels, said:
"The trends observed in the first quarter in the vast majority of regions reflect a favorable environment for the hotel industry." He added that, "the Group further entrenched its growth, its move into new businesses and its leadership in the luxury segment through numerous value creating acquisitions."
