Vallourec: increases FY outlook

(CercleFinance.com) - Vallourec has announced that it is raising its outlook for 2021, targeting gross operating income of between 350 and 400 million euros, along with free cash flow of -340 to -260 million euros.


This results from a significantly improved outlook in some of the markets in which Vallourec operates. This is particularly the case for anticipated volumes and sales prices for the OCTG activity in North America and the iron ore mine in Brazil.

The new free cash flow objective includes an additional cash outflow of about 65 million euros resulting from the exercise of the repurchase option for the debt of the lease contract (DBOT) in Brazil.
