Vallourec: Edouard Guinotte appointed chairman

(CercleFinance.com) - Vallourec's Supervisory Board met yesterday, deliberating on the succession plan for its Management Board, whose terms of office expire on 15 March 2020.


As Philippe Crouzet did not wish to take on a new term of office, the Board chose Edouard Guinotte to succeed him as member and Chairman of its Management Board at the end of his term of office. He will be appointed for four years.

"During his more than twenty years career with the Group, much of it working in international markets, he has demonstrated his leadership and his strategic vision. He joined the Executive Committee in 2017 with responsibility for the Middle East and Asia region," the group said.

Olivier Mallet will be reappointed as a member of the Group Management Board and Chief Financial Officer. He will hold office until the end of the Ordinary General Meeting of 2023.
