Vallourec: wins contract in Myanmar

(CercleFinance.com) - Vallourec announces that the Thai company PTTEP has awarded it a contract to deliver over 3,000 tonnes of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) products for exploration drilling of a deposit, located in the Gulf of Martaban in Myanmar (formerly Birmanie).


This project will mainly be managed via Vallourec's subsidiary in Indonesia, with distribution via the group's pipelines in Brazil, China and Germany. In addition, VAM on-site support services will be deployed on the platform.

By ensuring that operating procedures are properly applied, on-site support services reduce risk, improve efficiency and enhance the security of operations on the platform, Vallourec said.
