L'Oréal: towards an investment in Global Bioenergies

(CercleFinance.com) - Global Bioenergies has announced the launch of a capital increase of an initially planned amount of 17 million euros (19.
5 million euros in case of full exercise of the extension clause) in which L'Oréal has committed itself to participating in.

The world leader in cosmetics, through its BOLD (Business Opportunities investment fund for L'Oréal Development) investment fund, has actually committed itself - under certain conditions - to subscribe to the transaction for an investment of seven million euros.

In the coming months, L'Oréal and Global Bioenergies also plan to sign an R&D collaboration that will continue and extend the efforts undertaken since 2016 on isobutene derivatives for cosmetic applications; along with a contract for the supply of isododecane.
