Total: extends partnership with Sonatrach in LNG

(CercleFinance.com) - Total announces that it has entered into an agreement with Sonatrach to renew their partnership in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG); the agreement will extend the supply of Algerian LNG to the French market for another three years.


Deliveries, amounting to two million tonnes per year, will be made primarily to the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal. The agreement also includes the sub-chartering of a Total LNG carrier by the Algerian oil and gas company.
