Total: inaugurates solar power plant in Hérault

(CercleFinance.com) - Total Quadran, a fully-owned subsidiary of Total dedicated to the production of renewable electricity in France, has inaugurated the "Plan del Rey" solar power station in Cazedarnes, Hérault.


With an installed capacity of 4.8 megawatts-peak (MWp), the photovoltaic plant will produce 6.8 gigawatt hours (GWh) of renewable electricity each year, covering the energy needs of nearly 3,000 residents.

With this new photovoltaic power plant, Total Quadran is actively contributing to the development of solar energy in Occitania and Total's big ambitions in renewable energies, Total Quadran said.
