Total: Saft launches Intensium Max 20 HE

(CercleFinance.com) - Saft, a subsidiary of Total, announces an expansioen of its range containerised lithium-ion (Li-ion) Energy Storage Series with the Intensium Max 20 High Energy (HE) model, which offers a storage capacity of 2.
5 MWh in a standard 20-foot container.

With this new, fully integrated container, Saft can provide a solution for the majority of applications that require large-scale SSE that can support several daily cycles, with unloaing times of two to four hours, Total said.

The Intensium Max 20 HE is available at three sites in North America, Europe and the Far East. The first deliveries are scheduled for September 2019 as part of a European wind energy storage project.
