Total: sequential rise in refining margin

(CercleFinance.com) - According to the European Refining Margin Indicator (ERMI), Total's refining margin increased to 39.
9 dollars per tonne in Q3 2018, compared with 34.7 dollars per tonne in Q2, although it is down from 48.2 dollars per tonne a year ago.

The ERMI indicator represents a complex theoretical North European refinery located in Rotterdam, which processes a raw cocktail of crude oil that represents the region's average supply to provide major products listed in the same zone.

In addition, Total says that over the past quarter, the average price per barrel of Brent reached 75.2 dollars per barrel, while the average price of liquid sales to was 69.5 dollars per barrel and that of gas was 4.96 dollars/Mbtu.
