Carrefour: to launch share repurchase program

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Carrefour announced the launch of a 500 million euro share buyback program, which it outlined last month.


The French retail giant said that it gave an investment services provider a mandate to buy back shares from 7 May to 26 November.

The shares repurchased will be held for future cancellation, the group said in a statement.

The retailer unveiled a 500 million share buyback plan on 21 April, an operation that it presented as being in line with its capital allocation policy.
