Carrefour: signs partnership deal with Deliveroo in France

(CercleFinance.com) - After Belgium, Italy and Spain, Carrefour and Deliveroo are extending their partnership to offer their customers home shopping delivery in France.


Through the deal, the home delivery of groceries in under 30 minutes on average is being launched in France this week, Carrefour announced today. It will first cover Paris, before expanding to around ten other major cities in the coming months.

In addition, deployment will accelerate in Belgium with the upcoming opening of the service in Antwerp in April, followed by Ghent in May, after Brussels and Liège on 5 March.

This international partnership marks a new stage in the development of Carrefour's e-commerce. It enables the group to significantly expand the distribution of its services, at a crucial time of market acceleration, Carrefour said.
