Carrefour: joins the 'IBM food trust' platform

(CercleFinance.com) - The Carrefour group announced Monday to join the IBM Food Trust platform, "to act on a global scale".


Based on the blockchain, this platform provides retailers, suppliers, producers and agribusiness companies with data from across the food ecosystem.

Carrefour said that the aim of the collaboration between Carrefour and IBM Food Trust is to establish a global standard of food traceability between all links in the chain from the producer to sales outlets.
