Carrefour: sets IPO price of its Brazilian business.

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour has announced that the IPO price of its business activities in Brazil has been set at 15 Brazilian reals per share, which values the company at 29.
7 billion Brazilian reals (8.1 billion euros).

The IPO consists of a primary offer of 205,882,353 shares issued by Groupo Carrefour Brasil and a secondary offer of 34,461,489 and 56,800,000 shares of Groupo Carrefour Brasil, sold by Carrefour and Peninsula.

Carrefour has also granted an option to Brazilian banks that participate in the offer, in order to place an additional 44,571,576 shares held by Carrefour.

Groupo Carrefour Brasil shares are set to be listed on the Sao Paolo stock exchange from 20 July 2017.
