Safran: Morgan Stanley upgrades stock
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Morgan Stanley upgraded its rating on Safran's stocks from "underweight" to "equal weight", in a report on the European aerospace sector.
In its comments, the US investment bank said it expects passenger traffic to recover only slightly in 2022, with a "robust" recovery in domestic flights, although a "slower" rebound in long-haul flights.
Regarding Safran, Morgan Stanley believes that the bad news is now priced in - at least in part - and considers the outlook communicated at its latest investor day as "reassuring".
The broker has therefore increased its target price from 100 euros to 109 euros.
